Kyle is a native Texan, but grew up in Louisiana and Tennessee. He is a 2000 graduate of Union University in Jackson, TN, and a 2003 graduate of Samford University's Beeson Divinity School. He has served First Baptist Church Alabaster since July 2006 as Minister of Students. 

Kyle's vision for the student ministry is to see it continue to grow into an exciting and thriving force in our church and community. His passion is to reveal the word of God to students in a way that is engaging and applicable to their lives. Nothing excites Kyle more than to see a student catch hold of the vision God has for their life and begin to reach out to the folks they encounter. His desire in ministry is to relate to students, grow leaders, and aid parents in their roles at home.

Kyle has been married to Joni since April 2004. She is a 2001 graduate of Samford University and a Registered Nurse. Kyle enjoys sports of all varieties, especially golf, reading biographies of famous people, and traveling with Joni. He also enjoys a game or two on the Playstation.
